Bid Slammer Online Auction Bid Sniping Software
How BidSniper Works
How do I place a snipe?
Entering a snipe into the system is very easy. If you are logged into the system, and visit the BidSlammer.com home page, you will automatically be taken to your main snipe area. This is where you can see all of your Snipes, and edit bids.
Before placing a snipe, make sure you are familiar with eBay's minimum bid increment policy.
·
In the input box on the left side, enter the item number for which you wish to place a snipe.
·
In the bid box, enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item.
You may also wish to try using the Slam-It Toolbar, an advanced method of entering snipes directly from eBay.
Please note that we do not support snipes over $10,000, to ensure safety and security for our customers
How to use the Slam-It! Toolbar
The Slam-It! toolbar was designed to allow you to add bids as fast as you can surf eBay. It works extremely well with the Internet Explorer browser as well as the Mac OS X browser, Safari!
·
(IE only:) Right-click in your menu bar to enable your Links toolbar. (Detailed instructions below.)
·
From your snipe main page, drag and drop the Slam-it icon to your browser's menu bar at the top.
·
It will warn you if it is safe. Answer YES, since it is.
·
While surfing eBay, just click the Slam-It! icon.
Enabling your Links toolbar (applicable to Internet Explorer only):
·
Right-click up in your Internet explorer toolbar, and a tiny sub-menu should pop up.
·
In this sub-menu, there is a list of items, and one of the items is Links. Make sure there is a checkmark next to the word "Links."
·
We do not advertise the Slam-It to work for all browsers and situations. In theory, it should work perfectly with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.1

What are Bid Groups?
Normally, you will not place your snipes in a group; they will be Ungrouped.
Bid Groups let you group similar auctions together -- and win only one item per group. Each group wins only one item. Once you win an item in group, then we cancel bidding for the remaining items in that group. This allows you to spread multiple bids around for common items -- and get the best price!
DISCLAIMER: You must ensure that grouped snipes are not DUTCH or PRIVATE listings and end at least 2 minutes from each other or the system will try to win both. Also, do not bid on private auctions for bid groups, since BidSlammer cannot detect whether you won or not.
If you don't want to use groups, choose the default, which is no group. No-color (white) snipes have no association with each other -- they are won independently
Can I change or remove my bid prior to closing?
Yes. You may modify or delete your snipes up to 10 seconds before closing, or earlier.
Note: Before changing bids, always make sure to click the blue "Refresh All" button to refresh all of your pricing information..
Hint. One way to "temporarily shut off" a snipe, but still track it, is to set the bid amount to zero. Then the bid will be rejected by eBay. You can always turn it back on by specifying a bid amount above zero.
Will you meet the reserve price for me?
The reserve price refers to the hidden costs that the seller sets as a minimum priced to sell the item. In other words, if you do not bid high enough to meet the reserve price, the seller is not obligated to sell the item to you.
If your bid is high enough to meet the reserve price, the eBay will automatically adjust your bid to the minimum amount necessary to purchase the item. Example: Item shows $50. Reserve is $100. You bid $200. You will win for $100, if you are the only bidder.
If your bid is not high enough to meet the reserve price, BidSlammer will not automatically raise or adjust your bid in order to win the auction. Just imagine the consequences of offering this kind of feature. You never know how much you would pay
How do I track auctions, and not actually bid on them?
One way to "temporarily shut off" a snipe, but still track it, is to set the bid amount to zero ($0.00). Then the bid will be rejected by eBay. You can always turn it back on by specifying a bid amount above zero.
